Vviper

Military Working Dog Vviper provided distinguished service while assigned to Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, Texas from 28 December 2009 to 30 November 2018. During this period, MWD Vviper executed 12,500 working hours and accumulated 2,500 hours of explosive detection search time. In addition, MWD Vviper established a first line of intruder detection at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland by providing 1,800 hours of anti-terrorism measures. Furthermore, MWD Vviper excelled while deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and United Arab Emirates. MWD Vviper partook in 810 hours of explosive detection support and provided 1,425 hours of walking patrols. MWD Vviper also deployed to Guatemala and New York City to name a few. After retirement, Vviper was adopted by his handler and lived with him until his handler was stationed overseas and couldn’t take him. Vviper then moved in with his grandparents in Virginia. He loves all the open places to explore, new wildlife and loves being spoiled. His new Mom and Dad loves to take him on walks in the woods and let him sit out in the sun. Vviper loves to supervise his dad as he is chopping wood or doing chores. Vviper’s most favorite thing to do is lay on the couch and watch tv!
