Mira

First assignment was Jan. 21, 2014 at LAX with first handler. Assigned to El Paso International Airport on Jan. 09, 2016 until her retirement date of March 09, 2021. Mira’s specialty is in explosives detection and trained at Lackland Air Force Base as part of the National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP). Mira is a people loving canine, soft hearted and loves attention. Mira’s job varied from daily duties at the airport to requested canine sweeps for dignitaries, concerts and of course threats to public safety. Mira loves to snack on carrots and bananas. Of course she loves to lie around the house, as she’s earned “in the house” status.
