Patos

K9 Patos was assigned to the TSA’s Explosive Detection Unit at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from 11/2015 to 02/2021. K9 Patos was certified to sniff for explosives in cargo, vehicles, aircraft, luggage, terminals and passengers. Patos was always eager to work and during his time as a detection K9 never failed an evaluation. Patos subsequently was retired due to a medical condition. He now lives with his former handler and remains active going on frequent hikes. He also enjoys spending time with his 12 year old sister a Sahara a female golden retriever.
