K9 Kan proudly served the Austin Police Department partnered with the National Explosive Detection Canine Training Program (Homeland Security/TSA) for nearly 9 years. Kan graduated K9 school October 2015 at Lackland AFB, Tx. Kan participated in the following security details and special events: Republican National Convention (Cleveland, OH), Super Bowl LII Minneapolis, Super Bowl LV Tampa Bay, Super Bowl LVII Glendale, MLB All Star Game Denver. He also bravely conducted duties during the tragic events of The Austin Bomber. K9 Kan also assisted in keeping former Presidents Obama and Trump safe during Presidential details to include current President Biden. He also conducted duties for important dignitaries to include Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to include many for high ranking officials.
