Mimi

Mimi is a Vizsla canine who graduated from the 10-week Explosive Detection Canine Training Course located at the Canine Training Center in San Antonio, Texas on June 15, 2017. Once we successfully graduated, we also attended our agency advanced Operational Canine Training Course located in San Antonio, Texas on July 27, 2017. Once all our initial training was complete, we became operational and were assigned to Washington, DC. During the timeframe of July 2017 – October 2025 she served her country honorably by conducting thousands of searches at federal facilities, vehicles, unattended packages in support of national security, protection detail involving the protection of V.I.P’s within the U.S government and the protection of government employees. Her unwavering focus, strong work ethic, and friendly demeanor made her a trusted partner and a beloved member of the team. Beyond her professional duties, Mimi always brought joy to everyone around her—always eager to work, yet equally content playing with me and my family during downtime. Thank you, K9 Mimi, for your outstanding service. Your service and companionship were and is greatly appreciate.
