Robby

K9 Robby was born on April 12, 2014, and was assigned to Trooper Harold M. Edwards as his handler. He was named in honor of Trooper Robert Ambrose, who was killed in the line of duty on December 19, 2002. Robby began his training with the New York State Police in Cooperstown, New York, on February 2, 2015, where he started his service journey as a police canine. Throughout his career, K9 Robby served alongside Trooper Edwards with loyalty, discipline, and dedication. He retired with his handler on February 25, 2018, marking the end of their official service together and honoring the strong bond between a trooper and his K9 partner.
