Lucas

Lucas received his initial training at the Canine Training Center at Lack AFB, San Antonio, Texas. Where TSA trains canine teams to operate in multimodal, maritime, mass transit, and cargo environments. Considered the “`center for excellence” for explosives detection canine training, the program is the largest explosives detection program in the Department of Homeland Security and the second largest in the federal government after the Department of Defense. Lucas is an all black male Labrador retriever and was born on 01/14/2021. Lucas worked at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Lucas assisted operations at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in November of 2025. Lucas loves to swim, snuggle and play fetch. Lucas loves just about any snack but really enjoys watermelon and strawberries.
