Miki

Multi-Purpose Canine (MPC) Miki served with SEAL Team 10 for six and a half years, playing a vital role in the success of high-level missions around the world. Working alongside multiple handlers, Miki deployed to Iraq, Somalia, and West Africa, where he specialized in explosive odor detection and enemy apprehension. On direct-action missions, Miki often led from the front, bravely moving toward danger to help protect the operators behind him and bring them home safely to their families. Miki retired to his first handler in October 2023 and now enjoys a well-earned retirement on the East Coast. He is part of a loving family with two small children, two other dogs, and his best friend—the family cat. These days, Miki spends his time chewing on his favorite Kong toy, keeping a close eye on the 20 chickens that roam the backyard, going on mountain bike rides, and visiting the family farm. In retirement, Miki has also found a new purpose as an ambassador for the Warrior Dog Foundation.
