Zorro

K9 Zorro is a black long haired German Shepherd who faithfully served the Metropolitan Police Department and the citizens of the District of Columbia for approximately four (4) years as a dual-purpose Patrol/Narcotics detection K9. During his career, K9 Zorro was one of four Narcotics detection K9’s within the Metropolitan Police Department and conducted countless narcotic related searches. K9 Zorro also participated in numerous suspect tracks and building searches that led to several apprehensions. Unfortunately K9 Zorro’s career was cut short due to degenerative lumbosacral stenosis. K9 Zorro is now a loving and protective house dog.
