Berry

Berry was all about work. He never let up and always actively wanted his reward when alerting at ports of entry. So I certified Berry from the Front Royal Canine Center in Front Royal Virginia on December 2019. We reported to the Progreso, TX Port of Entry where he immediately alerted to a vehicle loaded with narcotics. That set the tone for the rest of his career. We were transferred to the Hidalgo, TX Port of Entry in late 2020 and again within a couple of weeks continued his impact by intercepting a Tractor truck at the import facilities loaded with narcotics. Berry continued to contribute within the K9 team by intercepting numerous narcotics loads. Berry’s work ethics were displayed by his resilience and active searching skills and high prey drive up until retirement. At home he has finally been able to relax and enjoy his time especially with the introduction of my family. He has turned into a big teddy bear searching only for my family’s affection and companionship.
