K9 “FRODO” was born on 05/26/2012. After we graduated from the academy, FRODO officially started from 06/25/2014 and retired 02/13/2021. FRODO was certified in the detection of narcotics and concealed humans. FRODO was instrumental in the mission of safeguarding our nation’s border. During his career he helped prevent thousands of pounds of illegal drugs and people trying to escape detection from entering the United States. FRODO is now resting at home and is adjusting to a normal dog life. FRODO has been diagnosed with a torn ACL of his left hind leg and needs TPLO surgery, Osteoarthritis, and significant Spondylosis at vertebrae L-2 to L4, LS.
