“K9 Deputy Max” badge #600 since May 2nd of 2015 until May 1st of 2021 you have selflessly served the citizens of La Paz County as well as the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office. During your career you have 207 successful deployments. You have numerous successful surrenders from wanted subjects, you have five successful apprehensions of wanted felons, you are responsible for the seizures of hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs as well as thousands of dollars of U.S currency that were a direct coalition from criminal activity. You have without hesitation served as a community pillar and brought smiles to numerous children during your school demonstrations. You have also represented the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office with honor as you competed in the 2018 Desert Dog Canine Trials against 70 other Canine teams from around the United States. During this competition you placed 2nd in Narcotics Detection, 4th in Tactical Challenge and 5th Overall. K-9 Max, your initiative and dedication to duty reflected credit upon yourself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office.
