Millie

K9 Millie was born in Georgia in 2020, travelling to join her handler in northern Virginia at just 7 weeks old. A single purpose tracking dog, she began training almost immediately. Millie had a very successful career, locating numerous missing persons. In one case an elderly male with Dementia had wandered off in frigid temperatures. K9 Millie located the subject almost a mile away in an unlocked vehicle where he was attempting to find warmth, almost assuredly saving his life. Along with her Handler and retired patrol dog Logan, Millie is enjoying retirement. She loves long naps and chasing squirrels.
