K9 Nacho has served honorably with the United States Capitol Police K9 Unit PBIED Detection Team since 2016. He has provided support for multiple Presidential Inaugurations, State of the Union Addresses, Congressional Sporting Events, Joint Sessions of Congress, and Lying in State Ceremonies. His regular duties include detection work screening visitors and staff at Capitol area metro stations and the Capitol Visitor Center.
