I hope this message finds you well. My name is Timothy Fleming, Executive Director of Paws of Honor. I am reaching out to share an important update regarding our retired K9 application

process.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community and the growing awareness of our mission, Paws of Honor has seen an unprecedented increase in interest and applications. This is a strong testament to the trust and recognition we have earned over the years as we continue to serve the brave retired K9 Heroes who have selflessly protected and served alongside our nation’s finest.

As our reach expands, we are experiencing a surge in demand for our services. More retired K9s than ever before are being referred to us for support. In order to continue delivering the high-quality care and assistance that each of these heroes deserves, we will be implementing a waitlist for new applicants. Applications will be reviewed and accepted from the waitlist as space and resources allow, with regular quarterly evaluations.

This period will also give us the opportunity to enhance our operational model and expand our resources to meet the growing needs of our K9 community. Please know that this adjustment comes from a place of growth and commitment to ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of our mission.

We deeply appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we move through this exciting time of growth. Together, we are making a lasting impact on the Handlers’ lives and the lives of these deserving K9 heroes.
