Asko served as an Explosive Detection K9 with Capitol Police from 2019-2025. He was tasked with protecting Members of Congress, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Heads of State and countless International VIP’s as well as providing security for every concert and major event on the grounds of the Capitol during this time. Asko was known as the “Unofficial Emotional Support Dog” by many and loved to visit fellow Officers.
