Canine Bio (History/Fun facts/Places Traveled)
Beethoven is a deaf K9 Assigned to the Muscogee County Jail in 2015, for 9 1/2 years he served with the Sheriff’s Office working with mental health inmates and veterans. Beethoven being deaf was his biggest asset not just to those he served at the jail but to the community he served. Since being retired Beethoven

continues to work as a therapy dog throughout Columbus. He is currently working at the Bradley Center on Wednesday and Fridays working with both the children and adult units. He really loves his new low key assignment. We still continue to visit at our local hospitals and Columbus Hospice. Beethoven is a very well traveled K9, making appearances at Gainsville, Florida PD where of course he was an instant hit, he has been to several other agency events that hes loves to attend and meet new friends! He has been back and forth to California both via plane and driving. Little fun fact, Beethoven loves cats, doggy ice cream and for whatever reason toilet paper rolls(the cardboard not the toilet paper) and finally he really loves kids and misses working with the inmates of the Muscogee County Jail.
