He and his handler travel from coast to coast and the US/Mexican Border on various FPS deployments working large scale public events and high-profile events on Federally owned and leased properties. Without realizing it K9 Bingo has been in places and seen things most humans will never get to see. He has been behind the scenes at Superbowl 51 in Houston, TX and Superbowl 59 in New Orleans, LA. He has been to three NCAA Final Fours. Marathons in San Antonio, TX and Oklahoma City, OK. He participated in security parade routes in San Antonio, TX and the world-famous Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans, LA. He has responded to bomb threats at Federal facilities, schools and believe it or not a sandwich shop and a hair salon. Although explosives were his primary role, he was also good at finding firearms and spent shell casings. He has been on many shooting scenes and was able to locate valuable evidence for investigators. He has provided pre-visit protective sweeps for several state and federal officials including former “Vice-President Biden”, and then “President Biden”. K9 Bingo has passed all initial and re-certifications and won first place in an explosives detection competition in 2019. Bingo loves the water and often enjoys trips for a swim at the local lakes and rivers.
