Buddy

My name is Buddy! I am a retired military working dog based Fort Myer. I served 10 years in the US Army. I was on two deployments, first in Iraq for 10 months in 2018, and then in Egypt for 1 year in 2021. I have worked with some pretty cool people and cool missions, including Secret Service on POTUS and VPOTUS missions, and providing force protection on Fort Myer. My favorite treats are Milk Bones, any cheese that exists, and peanut butter. My dad takes me on a lot of trips on our down time, like camping on Shenandoah, retirement trips to the zoo (the seal pup doesn’t like me there), and plays fetch with me everyday at the dog park. My most absolutely favorite activity is to sleep, I’m quite a lazy man now (professional sleeper some might say). I spend most of my days with my giant Kong, and a dinosaur plush toy named Timmy (who is missing and arm and a leg at the moment). But I love retirement life, and love my new home with my dad and all his friends.
