Calliope worked for the United States Federal Government as an Explosive Detection Canine for 7.5 years (2015-2023). During her career she was assigned to duties all over the Metro D.C. area as well as several overseas posts. Calliope served on 9 deployments totaling 541 days to multiple warzones. In her downtime she loves to sunbath on her patio, give her baby brother lots of kisses, take lavish naps, lounge in the pool and play in the snow.
