Enzo

  • Breed / Mix: German Shepherd
  • Age: 11 Years
  • Service: Federal Agency

Enzo joined the Bureau of Land Management in 2016 after coming to the United States from Budapest. He received training in narcotics detection and patrol work and has demonstrated a strong aptitude for tracking individuals. I have been his sole handler, allowing us to travel extensively across the United States for special operations such as Burning Man and responding to natural disasters like Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. When not on duty, Enzo is affectionate and seeks attention from anyone willing to pet him. He is the eldest of three dogs and prefers to spend his time in his own room with the gate closed to avoid his two-year-old sibling. He enjoys going for walks and chewing on his KONG toys. Throughout his career, Enzo has participated in over 800 narcotics deployments and multiple apprehensions. His most favored activity at work involves helicopter missions. The special harness and goggles make him eager, and his enthusiasm is evident by his wagging tail and pulling to get to the helicopter.
