Jockey is an active Belgian Malinois mix who was retired in 2022 after six years of active service with the Houston Police Department Explosives Detection Canine Unit. Jockey was retired after bone cancer was found in her left front leg and her leg was amputated to save her life. She has worked Super Bowls in Houston, Minneapolis and Tampa, and 2 World Series. jockey has also provided dignitary protection for numerous celebrities, prominent sports figures, and politicians; including five Presidents of the United States.
