K9 Kellen is a yan Explosives deCanine Kellen was an exceptional Explosives Detection K9 specializing in passenger screening, serving with distinction for approximately six and a half years before his retirement. Throughout his career, Kellen successfully passed every evaluation, consistently demonstrating the reliability, drive, and professionalism expected of a highly accomplished working canine. His career included assignments supporting large-scale sporting events across multiple states, security sweeps for dignitaries, and multi-agency training events. Most notably, Kellen spent the majority of his career helping secure Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. His dedication and outstanding performance made him a trusted and valued member of the security team. Away from work, Kellen enjoyed long walks on the trails and relaxing at home. One of his favorite pastimes was moving from window to window throughout the house, finding the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine. After years of dedicated service, Kellen now enjoys a well-earned retirement filled with long walks, sunshine, and the comforts of home.
