Key had decided from the beginning of his training that he would only be matched with a female handler. He wasnt responding well to make handlers. Since I was the only female in the class, I was the Lucky one! We were a perfect Match!
Our dogs don’t get awards as per say, other then a “good job” since that’s a regular job at the borders-be on the hunt daily, finding their toy-it’s their reward.
Here they work 3-4 hrs a day.
Malinois are either serious or super friendly personalities. Key is the one that seeks attention from everyone, for him physical interaction with me or anyone around him, was his stimulation to work!
