Kimber Calabrese

K9 Kimber is a single purpose retired Atlantic City Police Explosive Detection K9 and her hander K9 Ofc. Pete Calabrese began their story in October of 2017 when they started the Atlantic County Sonny Burke K9 Academy together and so started this amazing bond and journey we have had. After completing training and staring work in the Patrol Division Bravo Platoon, K9 Kimber made a name for her self by helping recover an illegal firearm on her first shift. Along her 8 year career K9 Kimber has traveled all over the state of NJ, to Pennsylvania and Delaware to train and perfect her trade. Eight years is a lengthy career for a working dog, but K9 Kimber has been on boats, conducted security sweeps for Presidential visits, Miss America Contestants and even World Cup qualifying match play. But she still to this day does not like escalators. She had been apart of numerous Search Warrants with local, state and federal agencies as well as taken part in countless K9 Demonstrations being a fan faviroite time and time again for the local children in the Atlantic City area.
