Canine Kyra is a retired Firearms Detection Canine that served the Broward Sheriffs Office as a Firearms Detection Canine. Canine Kyra served the region as the only firearms detection in Broward county from 2016 to 2019 until the agency expanded. Kyra assisted with various detective bureaus in locating valuable firearm evidence to aid in the clearance of violent crime cases.
