Llarocque

Llarocque is a female cream colored Labrador Retriever and was Born January 07 2012 under the very successful Puppy Dog Program located in Lackland Texas. Llarocque’s named derived out of Judith Frankel Larocque a very successful CEO who was sadly taken on 9/11. Judith was on board American Airline flight 11 that crashed in New York City. Llarocque was assigned to the Hawaii State Sheriffs department K9 unit in June of 2013 and under gone Hundreds of hours of rigorous and extensive training to include the initial federal standard evaluation test. Llarocque nicked name Foxy Roxy do to her pretty looks and sassy attitude participated in thousands of hours of searches to include USPS mail, cargo inbound/outbound, threats, unattended vehicles and items. In January 0f 2015 Llarocque assisted the San Francisco Police Department in maintaining a safe and secure venue that was Hosting the Super Bowl. She also assisted in concert searches for Metalica, Snoop Dog and Alicia Keys during her deployment. Llarocque participated in high level searches in Hawaii as well which involved NFL Pro Bowls, Marathons, and high dignitary searches for the Secret Services and State Department offices. Llarocque was very successful in passing all 8 of her Federal Evaluations during her tour of duty at a highly exceptional level. Llarocque loves to train and is environmentally and socially sound with absolutely no fear in her regimen. She conducted trainings aboard moving helicopters, trains, boats, vehicles etc. She absolutely loves the obstacle courses and trail running but that takes second to her swimming time. In 2016 while performing her daily duties Llarocque suffered a severe leg injury that required immediate surgery with extensive rehabilitation for years to come. A metal plate with pins was inserted into her leg for improved mobility and stability. Llarocque continued weekly rehabilitations and continued to pass her certifications without skipping a single beat. In October of 2019 Llarocque was retired from active service by the Department Of Defense NEDCTP program. Llarocque’s retired life now consists of being with her handler in Honolulu Hawaii, and now her daily duties consists of laying down in the AC room, going on daily jogs and being spoiled rotten by her family. Llarocque FOXY ROXY will always be the Queen in the castle.
