K9 Mala is a high drive explosive detection canine who worked at MCO until diagnosed with epilepsy. Mala had opportunities to participate in joint training with OPD, at Port Canaveral, at Patrick Air Force Base, with FHP, UCF Police K9, and more throughout Central Florida. Mala’s favorite downtime activities before retirement included long walks in the neighborhood and patrolling the squirrels from the patio window. Mala’s favorite treats are anything and everything.
