Mischa

Mischa came into my life when my last K-9 (Bobo) retired from Philadephia Airport Police K-9 unit. She was such a blessing when I received her as she had another handler that had her for 2- days and gave up on her because of her breed. She became my partner on and off duty because she believed her and her new brother were supposed to go with me all the time, and they did. She loved running on the air field, and no matter how far she was and with all the noise out there she always heard me call her and tell her to “Come”. She would stop in her tracks and run and jump into the Police car cause she knew we had to work. In April of 2020 I left K-9 and couldn’t take her because of her age, so I was able to pass her to one of my friends that use to be in K-9 and needed a dog. He would drop her off on the weekend so I could spend time with her, but I promised her I would get her as soon as she retired. Kept my promise and picked her up from the Airport on her last day January 12, 2024.
