Molly

Molly is a very energetic black and white German Shorthair Pointer. She has an incredible nose for finding trained odor and critters. She originated from the Nederland’s then came to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Molly started in Philadelphia but due to her handler retiring she eventually found her way to the Island of Maui in the Pacific. Not much is known about Molly prior to her arriving on Maui and what she participated in. Her new handler was told that she participated in the support of the all aspects within the area of Philadelphia with focus at the International Airport keeping passengers safe. After her move to the Island of Maui it was very apparent that she enjoyed to tropical weather. Swimming at the beach and fetching anything that squeaked. She worked hard and plays hard on her back with her legs up. Molly enjoys stalking geckos, lizards, all birds and waterfowl. It is unknown where and when but Molly developed a fear of passenger jet bridges and was unable to support any further operations at Kahului International Airport on the island of Maui. Nowadays Molly doesn’t mind, she is enjoying the island life, but this doesn’t stop her from cutting the wake of every person she passes while out enjoying the Sun and Surf.
