Mookie

K9 Mookie is a male German Shepherd that was born in the Netherlands in 2013. For four years he served the people of the State of NY with his handler P.O. Rob Savage to fight terrorism through explosive detection on the largest regional transportation rail system in America, the Long Island Railroad, Metro North Railroad and Staten Island Rapid Transit Rail system. Those transportation facilities spanned 14 counties and some 5000 square miles of NYC, Long Island and southeast Connecticut. I’m his retirement, Mookies loves to continue to play fetch with his favorite chuck it ball, go for long walks and spending time with his family.
