Phoenix

K9 Phoenix is an American Labrador that was born in Maryland in September of 2017. The following year, K9 Phoenix was purchased by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (VA) where he was assigned to the Special Operations Section as a narcotics detection K9. During his career with LCSO, K9 Phoenix assisted in numerous investigations and helped with locating various amounts of narcotics and furthering different narcotic investigations. K9 Phoenix also assisted in several narcotic interdiction operations at the Dulles International Airport where he would scan hundreds of pieces of inbound and outbound luggage. Later in his career, K9 Phoenix was able to take on the task of tracking and was instrumental in locating numerous missing children and elderly people.
