K9 PIPA C611 is a 4 year- old, male German Shorthair Pointer. A Department of Defense asset. Trained/certified at TSA’s National Explosive Detection Canine Team Program, Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio Texas. K9 PIPA is a dual function explosive detection canine. Certified in conventional explosive detection as well as Vapor Wake Technology. K9 PIPA served his time as a Passenger Screening Canine (PSC) at Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark NJ. He screened thousands of passengers and cargo to assure TSA’s mission of keeping the flying public safe. He attended numerous events participating with local and national K9 teams. K9 PIPA was retired due to medical issues but served with honor. He now enjoys retired life chasing tennis balls and getting pampered.
