Roxie

K-9 Roxie dedicated over 6 years to the United States Capitol Police from August 2015 to November 2021. On Capitol Hill, Roxie honorably protected Members of Congress, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Heads of State and countless VIP’s from all over the world. Roxie traveled to Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention in 2016 and secured numerous Congressional Delegations and events in the DC, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania areas. Roxie retired in November 2021 with numerous medical issues to include spondylosis (a painful condition of the spine resulting from the degeneration of the disks), arthritis, decreased range of motion in her extremities and recently had surgery to remove a small tumor from her anal gland. Roxie is on multiple medications that are now the responsibility of the handler to pay for. Roxie is enjoying retirement at home, relaxing on the couch with her brothers Benji and Velus. Roxie loves going for car rides, walks and is enjoying all the plush toys she can handle.
