Shadow-Shaw

Shadow-Shaw is a ten year old yellow lab who worked as a TSA Canine from 2017 to 2024. Shadow-Shaw started out as a passenger-screening/explosives detection canine at Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After three years of service, Shadow transferred with his handler to John Glenn International Airport in Columbus, Ohio to start up their canine program. Shadow-Shaw was recognized as one of the canine’s featured on Columbus News Station WSYX for working the Superbowl in Phoenix, Arizona in 2023, as well as being featured as one of the top 10 TSA Cutest Canine’s and Mr. September in the TSA Canine Calendar in 2023. Shadow-Shaw loved traveling to help out at other airports, and has worked at Pittsburg International Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Shadow-Shaw’s favorite toys are Kong squeaky tennis balls and stuffed Lamb Chop toys, and absolutely loves Milk Bone dog treats! In his downtime, Shadow-Shaw loves hanging out with his brother K9 Max, going for walks and playing hide and seek with his toy, and spending time with his new baby sister Jin-Ju.
