Tank

Tank proudly served as a single purpose Explosive Detection Canine for the United States Department of State from 2014 through 2018. Tank’s most memorable moments serving at the State Department include searching a piece of the Berlin Wall for the National Museum of American Diplomacy and participating in National Night Out events. From 2018 until his retirement in mid-2019, Tank continued to serve as an Explosive Detection Canine at over a dozen Federal Installations in the D.C. area and at the Kennedy Center where the highlight of his career came when he swept the Red Carpet for the Kennedy Center Honors. Tank has not lost his drive in retirement and continues to inspect all packages and vehicles at his handler’s home. He also loves playing in his backyard and snuggling on the couch with mom & dad.
