Tobi

Canine Tobi is an eight and half year old German Shepherd that is NESPAC certified through the Connecticut State Police Canine Unit. Canine Tobi graduated in December, 2015 from the Connecticut State Police Canine patrol class and is certified in building searches, evidence recovery, tracking, handler protection, suspect apprehension, obstacles and obedience. Canine Tobi has also graduated from the Connecticut State Police Canine Search and Rescue class in August, 2018 and is certified in the detection of human cadaver along with live, human odor, water search and rescue and light disaster rescue. Canine Tobi has maintained all these certifications and has been active in patrol at Troop L and Troop K since he graduated from these courses. Canine Tobi is currently retired as of 10/22.
