Tom-Magnum

Canine Tom-Magnum is a three year old German Shorthaired Pointer who was born on 12/29/18. Tom worked as an Explosives Detection Canine and was assigned to his Handler at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio, Texas on 5/28/21. After graduation, Tom was stationed at one of the busiest airports in the world, John F. Kennedy International Airport. Tom has attended training details at several ferries in New York and Liberty State Park in New Jersey. Not a day went by where Tom was not excited to work. Tom would show up to JFK with his heinie wiggling and making everyone he encountered smile. Tom worked with a high drive and independence, and as well as being recognized for his hard work and dedication, he was also recognized as the runner up of TSA’s Cutest Canine Contest in 2022. They say you can’t have beauty and brains, but Tom-Magnum is the full package.
