Tygo

Tygo is a 7 year old Belgian Malinois, born in Holland and imported to the US to Vohne Liche K Kennels. In 2016 Tygo was purchased by the Branson Police Department and was issued to his first handler. After 2 years, Tygo was then transferred to Officer Gamble’s care, where he worked for the remainder of his career. Tygo detained multiple wanted suspects, helped with seizing over $40,000 in illegal drug money, and detected on 11,000+ grams of illegal narcotics. On January 5, 2022, Tygo was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, leading to his final call and retirement on January 14, 2022. Tygo now spends his days sunbathing in the back yard, napping on the couch, and getting lots of belly rubs. He loves tennis balls, he’d never give it back to you if you didn’t make him! He also loves going for walks with his family. He’s not a normal dog that likes peanut butter, but he does love eggs! If it wasn’t for his diagnosis, he would happily be patrolling the streets of Branson, making so many new friends!
