Oakley is a chocolate Lab that was born and trained at Auburn University. Oakley was the first class of Vapor Wake K-9s to serve the U.S. Capitol. Oakley excelled at explosives ordinance detection work and loved working around people. The only thing Oakley enjoyed more than working was being at home with the kids and other four legged companions.

Oakley is now retired and living out the remainder of his days with his former handler and family. Like virtually our nation’s retired K9s, Oakley receives zero retirement or other benefits from government so Paws of Honor will support Oakley and his family by providing 100% of his veterinary and medical care based on funding availability.
