Rey

Rey and I were assigned to the Denver Police Bomb Squad. Our responsibilities were Explosives Detection and Gun/shell casing recovery. We completed countless explosives sweeps during our career together. That included Dignitary visits, School bomb threats, venue sweeps (Denver Broncos,Colorado Rockies, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver University, Co Convention Center) just to highlight a few. We also assisted in numerous crime scene searches for gun and shell casings. Rey recovered numerous guns and shell casings from homicide, aggravated assault and Officer involved shootings. We also participated in numerous community events for community/police relations. Rey was a high drive dog at work but was able to turn it off when we got home and just be a normal goofy lab.
